JoAnne Guzzi has spent the past eight years serving the people of Bonner County inside the courthouse and believes the Clerk's Office should be led by someone who understands the job from the inside out.

Clerk of the District Court
Key administrative officer who manages non-judiciary court operations, maintains official case records, and handles court logistics.
Chief Elections Officer
Responsible for the overall administration, security, and integrity of all federal, state, and local elections within the county.
Clerk to the Bonner County Commissioners
Serves as the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners, acting as the official secretary, record-keeper.
Ex-Officio Auditor, and Recorder
Prepares and submits the preliminary annual budget, maintains budgetary compliance, and manages the counties financial records.
JoAnne Guzzi began her career as a Sworn Deputy Clerk, where she spent five years working directly with court filings, maintaining records, and assisting members of the public and legal professionals with court proceedings.
For the past three years, JoAnne has served as Judicial Assistant to Presiding District Judge Lamont Berecz. In that role, she manages court scheduling, coordinates hearings and trials, and works closely with court staff and attorneys to ensure the judicial system operates efficiently.
This experience has provided JoAnne with a comprehensive understanding of how the Clerk's Office supports the courts, county government, and the community.
JoAnne believes the County Clerk's Office should be led with professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Her goal is to ensure the office continues to provide reliable service, maintain accurate records, and support fair and transparent elections for the citizens of Bonner County.
